Labour and delivery experiences can have a profound effect on a woman’s life and may also impact on her relationship with her child and how she approaches another pregnancy and delivery.
|
The Royal Women’s Hospital is introducing a free service whereby women may return to the hospital to discuss their birth experience with a midwife in a confidential setting. There will be no limit to the number of appointments with the midwife, however she may be referred to other areas of the hospital such as Women’s Social Support or Mental Health Services as deemed appropriate. There is no time limit after the birth for this service.
