The Royal Women's Hospital provides a free occasional child care service for the children of all women who are attending the hospital for care.
This service enables women to discuss their health care confidentially and without interruption or distraction. Our child care centre provides care for children from the age of 12 weeks to 7 years old.
The centre is open between the hours of 6.45am and 5.45pm. Care can be provided for up to two hours per day, and longer care can be arranged by discussion with the centre coordinator.
Bookings are usually required. On occasions, it may be possible for patients to arrange child care at the centre without an advance booking.
