The Chronic Pelvic Pain Service (CPPS) provides specialist, multidisciplinary, comprehensive pain management to women with chronic pelvic pain.
|
The service operates as a tertiary referral service in conjunction with the Gynaecology 2 Unit, where women are assessed for their suitability for this service. Appointments can take up to two hours, as the patient will see a team of clinicians. This will include a pain consultant, psychologist, physiotherapist and social worker.
