Dale Fisher
| Chief Executive
| Dale Fisher was appointed Chief Executive of Victoria’s Royal Women’s Hospital in July 2004. Dale is a leader and advocate for women’s health and has focused her career on leading and managing quality public health care services to the Victorian community.
In recognition of her achievements in leadership and promoting excellence in women’s health, Dale was inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll in 2011 as part of the centenary celebrations for International Women’s Day. Dale’s interest in the health and wellbeing of mothers and newborn babies manifested in her eight year appointment (two years as Vice President) to the Board of the Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC), an early parenting centre in the South East of Melbourne.
Dale has recently been appointed to the Board of Women’s Hospitals Australasia, whose vision is to enhance the health and well-being of women and babies. Dale is also a Board Member of the Joint Venture Board of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (Victorian CCC) a major cancer research and care collaboration of hospitals and health services in Parkville and beyond.
Dale practised as a Registered Nurse for over 10 years before pursuing studies in business management, completing a Bachelor of Business and then a Masters of Business (MBA) in 2002.
