The Royal Women's Hospital Gala Ball - in celebration of the Women's 155th Anniversary

To celebrate 155 years of leadership in women’s health, the hospital hosted a Gala Ball on November 26, 2011.
According to the Women’s chief Executive Ms Dale Fisher, the Gala Ball was an opportunity to thank the supporters of the Women’s vital work. "Our supporters believe, as we do, that women’s health really does matter and that investments in the health of women today will benefit generations to come."
Comedian, writer and actor Corrine Grant generously donated her time to MC the event. The Honourable Alex Chernov, AO, QC Governor of Victoria and Mrs Elizabeth Chernov, the hospital’s patron, and Health Minister David Davis also attended.
All money raised by the Gala Ball will fund equipment purchases for the Women’s.
