Our Gynaecology service provides specialist gynaecological care. Each unit has a special interest in a particular area of gynaecological health.
|
Gynaecology Unit 1 - specialises in the care of women with menstrual and other gynaecological bleeding disorders
Gynaecology Unit 2 - specialises in the care of women with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
Gynaecology Unit 3 - specialises in the care of women with pelvic floor problems.
The Adolescent Gynaecology clinic provides care for young women from 13 years to 19 years of age, with gynaecological problems.
|
These units also work collaboratively with the nurse practitioner Gynaecological Assessment clinic which provides broad gynaecological assessment, diagnostic investigations and referral to specialist medical service if required. Referrals to the Gynaecology Service will be allocated to the appropriate unit.
