Gynaecology & Women's Health

The Royal Women’s Hospital cares for women who are experiencing discomfort and pain because of a gynaecological problem. This might include problems with menstruation, hormonal conditions or prolapse.

If your conditions or symptoms do not fit clearly into any one of the specialised areas, you may be asked to attend one of our gynaecology clinics.

Your general practitioner can refer you to the clinic or you can make an appointment by contacting the clinic directly.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • appointment slip
  • referring letter from your doctor
  • Medicare Card
  • pension, health benefit or Pharmaceutical Benefit or Concession card
  • current medication details (if you are taking any)
  • any relevant information such as x-rays, ultrasound reports and so on.
