The Royal Women’s Hospital 150th anniversary celebratory conference showcased our work in women’s and newborns’ health care provision.

The comprehensive conference program incorporated current trends in maternity, neonatal and women’s health care and featured our research and clinical service achievements.
| Clinicians and researchers at the Women's, leaders in their respective fields of expertise, also presented our future services and directions in caring for the women and babies of Victoria.
| The conference program was organised into themes that reflect the work we do and our multidisciplinary approach to health service delivery. A summary of the conference program is provided below.

| Clinical Quality & Safety
| Focusing on contemporary clinical governance issues such as clinical audit, risk management, clinical indicators and practice guidelines. Panel discussions will be used to explore these themes.
| Health Promotion
| Highlighting initiatives supporting the philosophy that prevention is better than cure. Speakers will include; Ms Rosemary Burrell, Ms Sally Fawkes, Ms Marg Darcy.
| Supporting Women
| Reviewing care models involving psychosocial and spiritual support designed to assist women in settings of pregnancy, bereavement, cancer and pregnancy loss. Speakers will include; Ms Liz Chatham, Ms Vivienne Raymant, Ms Angela Steele, Ms Christine Hennequin, Dr Wendy Vanselow, Pastor Judy Rigby, Dr Di McGreal.
