The University of Melbourne's Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Institute (Bio21 Institute) is a multidisciplinary research centre, specialising in medical, agricultural and environmental biotechnology. The Bio21 Institute building incorporates a number of additional facilities including conference facilities, a central atrium, cafeteria, meeting rooms and open breakout areas.

Parking
|
There is no public parking on site at Bio21 but some limited street and meter parking is available in surrounding streets. The closest all day parking places are at University Square underground carpark (enter Berkeley St or Bouverie St, Carlton) which is a 10 minute walk from Bio21. Please see the the University campus map. The charges are $3.00 per hour up to $10.00 for the day.
Alternative public parking can be found at the Royal Children's Hospital on Flemington Road. Underground carparking and secure bicycle racks are available at the new Royal Women's Hospital (access from Flemington Road).
