Menopause Symptoms After Cancer Clinic (MSAC)

The Menopause Symptoms After Cancer (MSAC) Clinic was established in 2010 to care for women with menopausal symptoms and a history of cancer.



The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of gynaecologists, endocrinologists, psychiatrist, psychologist, sexual counsellors and specialist nurses.

The MSAC clinic is supported in the delivery of care by:

  • The Familial Cancer Centre, The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH)
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Services (RMH)
  • Specialist Fertility and Reproductive Services at the Women's
  • The Women's Mental Health Service
  • The Breast Service (the Women's and RMH)

How to refer


GP Referral/Specialist referral - includes Surgeon, Oncologist/Breast Care Nurse referral/Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse referral.

Hours and days of service operation


Monday afternoons 1.30pm to 4pm

Location: Level 1, Women's Health Clinics

Please bring to the appointment:


  • Test results/Imaging - this includes any pathology from your surgery/cancer tratment
  • Radiology - including Bone Mineral Density (BMD) results
  • Medicare Card
  • Health Care Card
  • List of medications
