The service offers:

- emotional and spiritual support
- opportunities for prayer and reflection
- rituals at times of personal significance
- pastoral counseling
- support and guidance on issues of death and dying
- contact with representatives from most religious traditions

Referrals internally or externally from patient or staff, family and friends
Patients, their family and friends or hospital staff can request use of the service.
