The Royal Women's Hospital provides a dynamic and challenging program for educating pharmacy students and intern pharmacists in pharmacy practice specialising in women's health and the newborns. Specialities cover areas such as high risk obstetrics, gynaecology, oncology and neonatal intensive care.
|During the intern year, we offer a thorough and detailed program to develop professional skills and competencies in all aspects of pharmacy. |
Interns rotate through all areas of pharmacy service, working closely with their pharmacists and are given opportunities to work independently covering appropriate clinical areas.
As part of the pharmacy team, each Intern is given a vital role as a member of the Adverse Drug Reaction, Medication Safety or intervention committee.
For more information, contact the Intern Pharmacist Preceptor.
