Reproductive loss services are provided by a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses and midwives, the Bereavement Support Services Team and coordinated by the Reproductive Loss Coordinator.
|
These services work together to ensure that a holistic response is provided, and that women and their families have all of their needs met.
The reproductive loss pathway includes miscarriage after 15 weeks gestation, terminations of pregnancy as a consequence of diagnosis of genetic abnormality, fetal death in utero, stillbirths, neonatal deaths, and infant deaths.
