Schedule of Visits - The Women's

During and after their pregnancy, women who choose shared maternity care will see their accredited local doctor or midwife for most of their check up visits.



Shared maternity care patients need to visit the Women's or one of our community clinics for four appointments: Pregnancy Booking Clinic at 8 - 12 weeks, 26 weeks, 36 weeks and 41 weeks.

View the Shared Maternity Care schedule of visits and tests for a low risk pregnancy at the Women's. The schedule may vary according to individual needs. This document can be downloaded and printed for patients.

The birth of the baby and postnatal care is provided at the Women’s. Doctor visits, blood tests and ultrasounds performed outside either the hospital or one of our community clinics may incur a fee.
