The Royal Women's Hospital Secondary School Work Experience Program provides students with an opportunity to gain insight into the healthcare industry.

The program is offered to students in Year 10. Students participating in the program are given the opportunity to spend one week working within available departments to observe and participate in the daily activities of those departments. The Women's strongly promotes involvement in the program and encourages students from all areas of Victoria to apply.
Areas of the hospital offering general work experience placements may include:

- Nursing & Midwifery
- Pharmacy
- Physiotherapy
- Research
- Dietetics
- Administration/Clerical

Year 10 Secondary School Work Experience places will only be available to students who can participate in the program on the available dates offered by the Women's Hospital. The 2012 Work Experience program dates are as follows:

- 26th March – 30th March 2012
|
| - 25th June – 29th June 2012
|
| - 17th September – 21st September 2012
|

Applications for Year 10 work experience program can be submitted via the careers website from the 21st November – 4th December 2011.
