All proceeds from the sale of “Listen” will go towards CASA House, who provide 24-hour support to victims/survivors of sexual assault.
CASA House is committed to ensuring that the silence which surrounds sexual assault continues to be broken. Studies show that violence and sexual assault are responsible for more ill-health and premature death among women under the age of 45 than any other well-known risk factors, including high blood pressure, obesity and smoking.
Pat Marks, aka “Pataphysics”, was recently listed as one of MTV’s top ten breakout bands in Australia. Pat works as a mentor and teacher to young artists in Melbourne and chose to support CASA House after hearing of their invaluable work through a friend.
“I work with a lot of young people and hearing their stories has made me think critically about sexual assault,” said Pat. “I hope to raise funds for CASA House and help push discussion about violence and domestic abuse.”
“Listen” is available for digital download with paypal or credit card from http://vibedeck.com/listen. The cost is $3 with 100% of the proceeds going towards CASA House.
Or you can donate directly to CASA House via the donation form below.
