Women's Health Information Centre

The Women's Health Information Centre provides a free confidential statewide health service. We offer information, individualised support and referral options on a wide range of women's health issues.



Telephone, walk in or email - our experienced women's health nurses and midwives are available for one to one support and advice. Women can browse or borrow from our specialist library. Interpreters are available.

The WHIC also runs the
Well Women's Clinic. The Well Women's Clinic offers:
  • Pap testing
  • Teaching Breast self examination
  • STI testing
  • Pregnancy testing and screening for Chlamydia
  • Information on any women's health issue in English Assistance with accessing health information on the internet.
