The Women with Individual Needs Clinic is an antenatal care clinic for women with an intellectual disability and learning difficulty. The Clinic can also work with women who have acquired brain injury, physical disability or sensory impairment who are pregnant.

The Women with Individual Needs Clinic has a dedicated Midwife and Social Worker. The Midwife provides continuity of antenatal and postnatal care, pregnancy related information and postnatal outreach for up to 6 weeks after the baby’s birth.
The Social Worker assesses a women's psychosocial needs, provides information about service options, advocacy, practical assistance, emotional and social support, referral to community services and works with her and the Midwife to develop a postnatal care plan.

A Midwife's Clinic runs on a Tuesday morning 9am to midday.
When a doctor’s appointment is scheduled, the patient sees the doctor for her local area (by team colour) in the Outpatients Department.
The WIN midwife is available Monday and Tuesday, 9am to 4.30pm
Fridays 9am to 3.30pm

- The hospital will already have the referral letter if you've been referred by the doctor in Outpatients.
