All research undertaken at the Women’s must have prior approval by the Research Committee and the relevant Ethics Committees. The Women's Research and Ethics Secretariat is responsible for the administration of three committees relating to research undertaken at the hospital. These are the Royal Women's Hospital Research Committee, Royal Women's Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee and Royal Women's Hospital Animal Ethics Committee.
