This one-day training program will provide participants with an overview of the theoretical frameworks which shape our understanding of parent – infant relationships, including attachment theory and psychodynamic approaches. The training will also focus upon how these frameworks can be applied to assessment and guide intervention where there is relational trauma. It will also provide participants with practical skills in parent-infant interventions and there will be opportunities for applied learning. A basic knowledge of attachment theory is assumed.
