Reproductive Loss Twilight Education Session
This evening is an opportunity for all staff to expand existing knowledge on current trends, communication and procedures relating to reproductive loss.
Course topics include:
- Overview of the reproductive loss service
- Legal requirements
- Bereaved parent experiences
- Your role in supporting families
- Taking care of ourselves
Previous sessions have been extremely successful with comments from staff such as:
I’ll feel more at ease speaking to bereaving parents
Greater understanding of the women’s needs
A good mix of listening and discussion/participation
A great privilege to have a bereaved parent speaking to us
This twilight session will be run by Clinical Education and the Reproductive Loss Coordinator.

Scholarships to attend are available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives - contact Clinical Education for application details. Please advise of any accessibility requirements.

Fees: External Participants: $100.00
Registrations close 5 days before the event.
Conditions: The Royal Women’s Hospital reserves the right to cancel any course should attendee numbers be insufficient.
Cancellations made up to one week prior to commencement of course for which you will be enrolled will be refunded at 50% of the fee. There is no refund for cancellations made within one week of the course commencement date.
