Jo is a Research Collaborator of the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine Pregnancy Research Centre
She is a research clinician working as the Associate Professor in Maternal Fetal Medicine, NorthWest Academic Centre. Her clinical research goal is to improve health outcomes for both mother and fetus by advancing understanding of the aetiology, contributing factors and possible therapeutic strategies in pregnancy specific disorders. Jo completed her PhD studies in 2008. She is a RANZCOG certified subspecialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Jo’s interests are in Pregnancy Specific Disorders (Pre-eclampsia, Fetal Growth Restriction, Stillbirth, Recurrent Miscarriage) with a specific interest in mechanisms controlling coagulation within the maternal, placental and fetal circulations. more
