The Medicines Information Service is based at the Women’s Pharmacy and is provided by experienced medicines information pharmacists.
What we do
We offer comprehensive, evidence-based medicines information to healthcare providers and the general public by phone and email.
We specialise in providing information on medicine use in pregnancy and breastfeeding, women’s health and neonates. We are also able to provide advice about adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, compatibilities, product information, complementary or herbal medicines use.
Information for patients
When you contact this service, the medicines information Pharmacist will assess your enquiry. Some enquiries may be answered immediately, while others may require further research before we are able to answer your question.
This telephone service is not for emergencies.
