Obstetric Medicine Research Group

Our research aims to improve outcomes for women and their babies in pregnancies complicated with medical disorders.

Obstetric Medicine Research Group

The Obstetric Medicine Unit launched a new research group in 2022.

The lifelong importance to mother and baby of managing maternal medical conditions before, during and after pregnancy is increasingly recognised.

Our research aims to improve outcomes for all women with medical disorders related to pregnancy, and give their babies the best chance of lifelong good health.

Dr Sarah Price, Professor Michelle Giles, A/Professor Paul Champion De Crespigney and A/ Professor Alison Nankervis currently have active ongoing research studies.

We are currently recruiting to these research studies. Several more are expected to open later in 2024.
