This program is intended for all women who are having a multiple birth and their partner/support person.
It is relevant for expectant parents of twins, triplets or more; whether this is the first (or subsequent) pregnancy. There are two workshops in the program.
Topics include:
- Explanations about what to expect when you present in labour
- Discussion of epidural and caesarean birth of twins, triplets or more
- Vaginal birth of twins, triplets or more
- Tour of the birth suite and postnatal area
- Preparation for taking two or more babies home
- Feeding multiple babies and support at home
