After surviving breast cancer and learning she carried the BRCA1 gene, Sarah chose to have surgery to lower her risk of ovarian cancer; including the removal of her tubes and ovaries.

To mark International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day, our hospital entrance will be lit up in blue and pink this evening, to honour all the babies gone too soon. But for our hospital, this act of recognition extends far beyond a single evening.
