Menopause symptoms after cancer - telehealth

The Women's is committed to improving access to healthcare for all Victorians. As part of this commitment we look forward to providing online videoconferencing, known as Telehealth, for our rural and regional patients when clinically appropriate.

The Menopause Symptoms After Cancer (MSAC) clinic will be the first of our services to participate in this program.

The Menopause Symptoms After Cancer clinic cares for women with menopausal symptoms and a history of cancer. Women need assistance to manage a range of menopausal symptoms, due to the complex nature of a cancer diagnosis and the risk of recurrence. A team of multidisciplinary specialists are available to assist women who are managing a range of menopausal symptoms.

In future, eligible women attending the clinic will be able to speak with their doctor about the option of a future Telehealth appointment.
